A Classy & Relaxed Summer Engagement Session


Now, let’s talk about the vibe of this session. Nikki & Abdul wanted something elegant but relaxed—nothing overly posed, just a reflection of their love in a breathtaking setting. And that’s exactly what we were able to create together. They moved through the space like they owned it (humbly of course), soaking in the architectural beauty while simply enjoying each other’s company.


One of my favorite things about photographing in the Chicago Cultural Center is how every corner of this place feels like a piece of art. We captured intimate moments on the grand staircase, framed by historic elegance. We stood beneath the Tiffany dome, the light filtering through in the most magical way. Every backdrop felt like it was made just for them.


Braving the Summer Heat


Did I mention it was *hot* that day? Chicago summers do not play around, and this particular afternoon was no exception. But Nikki & Abdul? Absolute champs. They embraced the warmth, laughing through it and making it look effortless. At the very end of the session, we stepped outside for a few classic shots in front of the Cultural Center’s entrance—because, let’s be real, that exterior is just as stunning as the inside.
