If you’ve never stepped inside the Wisconsin State Capitol, you’re in for a treat. The grand marble staircases, columns, and natural light make it one of the best engagement photo spots in Madison. On the outside, the stunning stone architecture gives that perfect mix of regal and romantic—ideal for couples who love an elegant vibe. And let’s talk about those iconic stone steps! We started the session inside, taking advantage of the golden light streaming through the massive windows. Karolina & Jack completely understood the assignment—they showed up in outfits that matched the Capitol’s elegance perfectly. Karolina’s chic dress and Jack’s tailored suit made every shot look like the luxury wedding editorial that this was. Flawless.

Golden Hour Glow & A Champagne Toast


After capturing the magic inside, we took the session outdoors, strolling around the Capitol and soaking in the perfect early summer weather. Madison engagement photography is all about capturing the couple’s personality against this city’s gorgeous backdrops, and these two made it easy. Their connection? Effortless. Their energy? Radiant.


To wrap up the evening in style, we popped a bottle of champagne on the Capitol steps. A must for any celebration. There’s something about ending an engagement session with a toast that just feels so special (and makes for the best candids!).
