Wedding at The Rose House: Rainy Day Romance

There’s something so magical about a rainy September wedding, and Leia and Caleb’s special day at The Rose House in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, was no exception. With heartfelt moments and endless laughs, their wedding had all the ingredients for a day to remember, on this 21st night of September.

Morning Preparations

The day began at Leia and Caleb’s cozy apartment just across the street from The Rose House. As the rain gently tapped against the windows, the excitement was palpable. Leia’s laughter filled the space as her maid of honor helped her get ready, while she was already plotting a prank that would soon set the tone for the day.

A huge shoutout to the incredible vendors who made everything so seamless! The team at Rose House LLC created the perfect backdrop for the day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting.

The Prank First Look

Ah, the first look. Usually a tear-jerking moment—and it was, but not before a bit of comic relief! Outside the venue, Caleb turned around, expecting to see Leia in her beautiful gown, only to find his best man dressed up in a white dress. The nervous energy melted into laughter, breaking the ice in the best way possible. Moments later, Leia appeared, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. The love between these two is simply undeniable.

Ceremony at The Rose House

The Rose House is a dream for any Wisconsin wedding photographer. With its charming vintage charm and warm, inviting atmosphere, it was the perfect setting for Leia and Caleb’s heartfelt ceremony. Guests watched with teary eyes as they exchanged vows under twinkling string lights, their love shining brighter than the rainclouds outside.

Downtown Stevens Point Photoshoot

After the ceremony, we braved the rainy streets of downtown Stevens Point for some epic photos. First stop? A gorgeous old bank with an exterior that looked like something out of a fairytale. Leia and Caleb twirled, kissed, and laughed, completely unbothered by the drizzle. The streets of Stevens Point became their runway, and the result was a stunning mix of candid and dramatic shots that perfectly captured their personalities.

Reception at The Rose House

Back at The Rose House, the party was in full swing. Guests danced the night away, fueled by delicious food and the beats of a DJ who knew how to keep the floor packed. One of the highlights? Leia and Caleb sneaking out for a quick run in the rainy streets. Those nighttime shots—the city lights reflecting off the wet pavement—were pure magic.
