Picture-Perfect Evening at St. Norbert College


Some engagement sessions just have that *extra* bit of magic. When you get that perfect weather, the dreamiest golden hour, and a couple (you) who radiates pure joy. That was exactly the case for Ella & Nick’s St. Norbert College engagement session in Green Bay. Seriously, these two (plus their adorable pup, Trevi!) made my job almost *too* easy.


St. Norbert College is hands down one of my favorite places for Green Bay engagement sessions. Also quick note, I know it is technically De Pere. There’s something about the mix of St. Norbert’s historic charm, stunning ivy-covered buildings, and the serene Fox River backdrop makes it feel like a scene out of a novel. And on this warm summer evening, the campus was absolutely glowing.


Ella & Nick’s energy matched the setting perfectly—joyful, relaxed, and completely in the moment. From the second they arrived (with Trevi excitedly leading the way!), I knew we were in for an amazing session. We strolled through the beautiful pathways, stopping at some of their favorite spots— classic architecture, tree-lined walkways, and that dreamy riverside view that St. Norbert is known for.

A Pup Who Stole the Show


Let’s be real—when a couple brings their dog to a session, I already know it’s going to be next-level fun. Trevi was no exception! She was full of energy, living her best life trotting around campus with her humans. We captured the cutest moments of the three of them together, and then, once Trevi had burned off some zoomies, we focused on just Ella & Nick.


Pro tip for any couples planning their St. Norbert engagement photography: If you want to include your dog, *do it*! Just bring some treats (and maybe a friend to help!!!), and we’ll make sure to capture those sweet moments without any stress.

Wrapping Up the Night with a Toast


After our time on campus, Ella & Nick wanted to end the night in the best way possible—a celebratory drink at a nearby bar. We found the perfect spot for some fun, relaxed photos, (because, why not?). I love when couples incorporate a piece of their life into their session—it makes the photos feel so personal and real.


And judging by Ella’s post-session reaction—*“OMG, I’M OBSESSED! SO GOOD!!!!”*—I think it’s safe to say these two loved their photos as much as I loved capturing them.
